Public Procurement and State Aid Lawyer (3–5 PQE)
Location: Glasgow/Edinburgh or Birmingham | Sector: Competition, EU & Trade | Hybrid Working Available
A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Public Procurement and State Aid Lawyer (3–5 years PQE) to join its growing Competition, EU and Trade team, with opportunities to work on complex, high-profile matters across the UK and Europe.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to contribute to a dynamic practice advising on:

The Public Contracts Regulations 2015, and/or the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015,Procurement Act 2023

UK Subsidy Control, EU State Aid, and related trade law matters
Ideal Candidate
-
3–5 years PQE with experience in public procurement law
-
Familiarity with UK subsidy control and/or EU State Aid (or a desire to develop in these areas)

Strong legal research and analytical skills, particularly in complex regulatory areas

A commercial, pragmatic mindset with an eye for risk-based solutions

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach
