Management Accountant

Management Accountant Glasgow (Fully Office-Based) Salary up to £40k (DOE) + Study Support An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing finance team within a successful engineering and manufacturing business for the post of \’Management Accountant\’. You\’ll play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller with a variety of month-end and reporting responsibilities across group and subsidiary companies. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accounts for group and subsidiary companies Balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow maintenance VAT returns and fixed asset register management Cost, margin and profitability analysis on project work Processing of invoices for smaller group entities Support in year-end audit file preparation and process improvement initiatives About You: Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a management accounting role Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with Sage Intacct is a plus Able to meet tight deadlines and work independently or as part of a team Ideally part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA), though QBE candidates will be considered This is a fully office-based role in a collaborative team, offering strong development potential and full study support for those still progressing through qualification.
