The Role

Working as part of an established legal team, you'll provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across a wide range of matters affecting the Private Banking & Wealth Management business.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Advising on wealth management and retail investment products and services.
  • Supporting strategic business initiatives, transformation projects and growth opportunities.
  • Identifying legal and regulatory risks while helping the business deliver commercial objectives.
  • Working closely with colleagues across Legal, Risk, Compliance and Governance.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of legal processes and ways of working.

No two days are likely to be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration and solving commercially focused legal challenges.

About You

We're keen to speak with qualified lawyers who have experience gained either in private practice or in‑house.

You’ll ideally bring

  • Experience advising on wealth management, retail investments or broader financial services matters.
  • An understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing financial services.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic, solution‑focused legal advice.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in becoming part of the wider business.

Experience advising on retail investment funds would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
