Overview:
A well-established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a highly experienced Residential Conveyancing Senior Associate, Legal Director (or Partner) to join their dynamic team in Glasgow. This is a client-facing role with supervisory responsibilities, offering the opportunity to work on complex transactions and with high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload including sales, purchases, and remortgages
- Deliver high-quality legal advice and client care
- Supervise junior conveyancers and contribute to team development
- Maintain accurate time recording and meet fee income targets
- Stay current with legal developments and regulatory requirements
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong technical expertise in residential conveyancing
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supervising junior staff and supporting departmental leadership
- Commercial awareness and ability to build client relationships
- Active involvement in business development and networking
