The Opportunity
You’ll become part of an established tax team, managing a varied portfolio of clients and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality personal tax compliance services. Your client portfolio will include:
- Sole traders
- Company directors
- Partnerships
- High-net-worth individuals
- Property investors and developers
- Pensioners and private clients
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of Self Assessment Tax Returns
- Preparation of personal tax computations
- Handling Capital Gains Tax calculations and related compliance matters
- Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
- Managing HMRC correspondence and compliance matters
- Assisting with P11D preparation where required
- Supporting senior members of the team with advisory assignments and planning opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
You’ll likely have:
- 3+ years' experience within Personal Tax gained in an accountancy or legal practice environment
- Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance
- Experience managing your own client portfolio
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- ATT qualification (or studying towards it) would be advantageous, although qualified by experience candidates are also encouraged to apply
