A leading international law firm is seeking an ambitious Corporate Associate to join its growing team in Glasgow. The Opportunity

You will play a key role in advising clients on a broad range of corporate and M&A matters, with a particular focus on private M&A transactions. The team acts for private equity sponsors, investment funds, public and private companies, financial institutions, family offices and emerging businesses across a variety of sectors and jurisdictions.

Alongside private M&A, you'll gain exposure to:

Key Responsibilities

• Taking day-to-day responsibility for transactional matters with appropriate partner support.
• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating key transaction documents.
• Leading workstreams and coordinating multi-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional teams.
• Supporting business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Delivering practical, commercial and solution-focused advice to clients.

About You

You will be a qualified Corporate lawyer with strong transactional experience gained within private practice. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience advising on corporate transactions and M&A matters.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience with SPAs, disclosure letters and shareholder/JV agreements.
• Direct client-facing experience.
• Commercial awareness and sound judgement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach and desire to contribute to a growing team.
