Lusona is supporting our Global client in Ayrshire to source applicants for this exciting opportunity to join their dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for a proactive and analytical finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.
Reporting directly to the Senior FP&A Leader, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, partnering with operational teams, and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across an 18-month cycle and quarterly reviews.
- Build strong relationships with operational budget holders to support KPI delivery.
- Analyse financial performance and recommend actions to improve profitability and cash flow.
- Drive productivity improvements and quantify their impact on the income statement.
- Execute and continuously improve FP&A processes.
- Manage month-end close and reporting deliverables to global HQ.
- Apply sound judgment and analytical thinking to solve complex problems.
- A self-starter with strong initiative and influencing skills.
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ICAS.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience in FP&A within an operational environment.
- ERP system experience (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
