Overview

Lusona Consultancy are exclusively partnered with our highly regarded Manufacturing Client as they recruit for a Finance Business Partner in Glasgow. This is a rare commercial finance opportunity offering considerable growth and development in a multinational organisation with operations across the UK, the US, Asia and Europe. Based centrally, our client is looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis to support and guide business performance. With over 40 years in operation, our client offers a collaborative working environment, providing an exciting business-facing role with a fantastic culture and a high-performance mentality. The salary on offer is dependent on experience and ranges from £52,000 to £57,000.

Responsibilities

The Finance Business Partner will report to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for management accounting and business partnering activities. You will be a key finance partner for non-finance colleagues in relation to planning, forecasting and value-add insight, offering commercial guidance to support the business. You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and associated budgeting and forecasting activities for monthly profit and loss and cashflow management. The Finance Business Partner will analytically review monthly financial results and interpret the results for the management team. This will involve presenting the results at monthly management meetings.

Qualifications

The Finance Business Partner will be a qualified accountant with excellent communication and analytical skills to support forward planning and business performance. Experience in a management accounting-focused role is essential, along with strong Excel and analysis skills. You will have strong communication skills to foster relationships with operations and finance colleagues across a multi-site environment.
