Accounts Administrator

Location: Paisley (hybrid)

An established organisation is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join its finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded finance professional with strong Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger experience to join a collaborative team and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a successful commercial business.

The role

You will support a range of day-to-day finance activities, including:

• Processing sales and purchase transactions
• Handling invoices, payments and purchase orders
• Maintaining cashbook and accounting records
• Checking financial information and resolving discrepancies
• Processing expenses and other finance administration
• Supporting month-end and audit activities
• Responding to finance queries from colleagues and stakeholders
• Assisting with improvements to finance processes

About you

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in Purchase and Sales Ledger
• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
• Good Excel skills
• Experience working to deadlines in a busy environment
• A reliable, organised and proactive approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
