Luso Court Care Centre is a newly commissioned specialist care home in Clapham, London supporting adults with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions. The home offers 80 en suite bedrooms across two floors and provides complex nursing care, specialist dementia care and residential mental health support within a safe and clinically led environment.

£13.50 - £17.00 per hour, Depending on experience. Full time contract. Pension, Paid DBS, Uniform provided. 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract.

The Role

As Head Housekeeper, you will lead the housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and comfort are maintained throughout the home. Your work will directly contribute to creating a safe, welcoming and well maintained environment for residents, visitors and colleagues. You will oversee daily housekeeping operations including cleaning schedules, laundry services and the maintenance of communal areas and residents’ rooms. Working closely with the management team, you will ensure all areas of the home meet high standards of presentation, infection control and safety. You will supervise and support the housekeeping team, organise rotas and allocate tasks while ensuring staff are trained and supported to maintain consistent standards. Your role will also involve managing housekeeping supplies, monitoring stock levels and ensuring equipment is used and stored safely. As part of a newly commissioned specialist service, you will play an important role in establishing strong housekeeping routines and maintaining an environment that supports residents living with complex health needs, dementia and mental health conditions.
