We are looking for a stock person controller & driver that can work independently and within a team environment to help our Queen St, Auckland store thrive, with providing strong stock accuracy, flow that positively impacts our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain stock accuracy through regular counts and reconciliation processes.
- Receive, count, and store all fortnightly stock deliveries from Australia, including handling multiple pallets.
- Coordinate and manage stock transfers twice weekly from the Silverdale warehouse to the Queen Street store (typically Mondays and Thursdays).
- Process and organise fortnightly incoming deliveries to the Silverdale location (typically Thursdays).
- Communicate effectively with remote teams and management, following instructions provided via email and other digital platforms.
- Support the in-store team with visual merchandising (VM) and day-to-day retail operations.
- Ensure all stock handling and storage processes align with company standards and efficiency targets.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in stock management, including accurate counting and handling large deliveries.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage stock transfers and coordinate logistics.
- Effective communicator, comfortable following remote instructions and working independently.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including visual merchandising and general store support.
- High attention to detail with a focus on efficiency and accuracy in stock handling.
- Full Car License.
- Own reliable Vehicle & insurance.
- 10-15hrs per week, Mondays and Thursdays with some flexibility required to meet business needs.
- Hourly rate $27.80 + mileage.
