Lush Writing Talent Pool: Product Content Team.
Fancy yourself a bit of a bard? Could you run through your ethics, benefits and product history in your sleep? Think you know how to get eyes on a black pot's backside?
We’re calling upon you, wordsmiths of Lush, to join the Product Content Team in our first-ever Writing Talent Pool. You’ll help bring products to life through compelling label and digital copy that’s on-brand, true to the inventor’s vision and gets products in customers' hands (and provides some lovely in-shower reading material).
Hours and pay You’ll be paid your regular hourly rate or salary, with agreed hours set aside from your usual role to focus on copywriting. We’ll be in touch with your manager to iron all of this all out, so don’t worry if words are more your thing than numbers (you’re amongst friends).
We expect each project to take approximately:
- Articles:16 - 20 hours.
- Medium-sized seasonal ranges and collaboration: 6 - 12 hours.
- Large seasonal ranges and collaborations: 20 - 40 hours.
Tasks and hours may vary, and wiggle room is available depending on the complexity and size of a project.
Key Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing If successful, you’ll be added to our talented pool of writers to craft engaging copy on a project-by-project basis, alongside your regular role. This will cover seasonal ranges, collaborations and articles, although this is subject to change.
If we identify the right job for you, we’ll be in touch with you and your manager, outlining timeframes, onboarding and all the other juicy details.
You’ll work closely with the Product Content Editor, who will provide training and the information you need so you can focus on doing what you do best: putting that pen to paper (or fingers to keys). They’ll offer feedback and guidance before sending your copy to the inventors for final sign-off.
There may also be opportunities to meet with the inventors and experts in the business to discuss their products in more detail

- Exceptional brand and product knowledge.
- Experience or strong interest and passion for writing.

- Ability to work to a set deadline.
