Diversity matters
We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. Itâs what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.
Who we are
You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but thereâs more to this greatâsmelling, partly employeeâowned, familyârun company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good.
The Living Wage Foundationâs statement, âa hard dayâs work deserves a fair dayâs pay,â is one that we are proud to commit to in the UK. As an accredited Living Wage employer, we put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is whatâs inside that counts â whether thatâs an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.
The team
The Green Hub is Lushâs internal repair, reuse and recycling plant responsible for processing all waste streams from the manufacturing sites, as well as the packaging returned by customers in our stores. The facility houses several core functions, including Lushâs internal Spa laundry, Repairs & Maintenance workshop, Moulds production, Product Donations department and the âShop Againâ store, where employees can purchase discontinued Lush merchandise.
The Green Hub also acts as an important engagement space, promoting Lushâs ethical and environmental values. The team regularly hosts tours, events, and workshops for internal departments, PR guests, local businesses, and charities.
The Role
As the first point of contact, you will welcome and assist all internal and external visitors, guiding them to the correct areas and providing fiveâstar customer service. You will lead Green Hub tours for employees, suppliers, and visitors, and host events for local schools, charities, and businesses. You will also support ad hoc tasks as needed, acting as a key contact for anything that arises throughout the day.
Youâll be passionate about the Green Hubâs environmental values and goals and keen to engage stakeholders, creating a buzz around the work we do.
There is huge room to grow here as the Green Hub blossoms. We need a passionate advocate to help shape our future and establish the Hub as an essential anchor for our Poole community. If you have the drive to turn big ethical ideas into a reality, youâll find a home here to develop your career and leave a lasting legacy.
Please note: We may close this vacancy early if we receive an overwhelming response or our business requirements change.
