Description

Diversity matters
We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It’s what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.
We see you, we celebrate you, we want you!
Who we are
You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there’s more to this great-smelling, partly employee-owned, family-run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good.
The Living Wage Foundation’s statement \'a hard day\'s work deserves a fair day\'s pay\' is one that we are proud to commit to in the UK. As an accredited Living Wage employer, we put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is what’s inside that counts - whether that’s an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.
The role
Our Artwork Team are positioned in the heart of the LUSH business, and deliver work to support the journey of all our lovely products as they are developed by our product inventors - right until they reach our customers’ hands.
This experienced artwork role will have you join a thriving and agile global team - working across all support teams, including Manufacturing, Shop & Space Design, Brand Marketing and Retail areas of the business. You will be supporting product through R+D to delivery - from product labels to signage, from retail touchpoints to window campaigns, packaging concepts and non-cosmetic product - with an essential role in team projects and opportunity for individual ownership once established. Based primarily at our vibrant R&D hub in Poole, you will be working closely alongside key creative people and teams at the forefront of innovation in product presentation and delivery.
Supporting Creative and Senior Leads to deliver against stakeholder expectations, always with an eye on ethical standards and the detail. Lush is an exciting place to be - we don’t follow trends, we want to lead them - and all of our creative output should reflect this. You will be expected to deliver on the work with a flexible, multi-skilled approach - and to communicate your part in the work to support our global peers too.
You are able to be an all-rounder too...a creative to help deliver at both ends of the process - with inhouse prototyping, through to artworking for print production.

Dierection
LUSH grabs each opportunity presenting itself with equal fervour and unrivalled enthusiasm. Whether direction comes through a formal process, with steerage from Creative Leads, or the need to initiate an artwork solution, keeping eyes peeled for connecting work and most importantly knowing to ask the right questions, to expand both project and personal growth. You will have the experience to look around you, and responsibility to nurture juniors as well as having the ability to look for senior support - connecting with project teams to the point of delivery. Understanding the bigger picture is critical.
Development & learning
This is a midweight position, which offers good progression into brand development at the heart of the business. Brand values and ethical production directly related to LUSH can be developed for this role.
Please note: We may close this vacancy early if we receive an overwhelming response or our business requirements change.

Key Responsibilities
