Most car sales jobs still operate like it’s 2008. Sit behind a desk. Wait for the phone to ring. Work a lead. Ask the sales manager for a deal. Repeat. That isn’t this. At Luscombe Motors, we are building something different in our flagship OMODA JAECOO showroom in Leeds. This role is for the next generation of automotive sales people. The ones who understand that modern car retailing is about building trust, creating demand, using digital platforms properly and becoming the person customers actually want to buy from. You will effectively run your own mini‑business within our dealership, with far more autonomy and earning opportunity than a traditional dealership role.

Earnings & Rewards

For the right person, this role can comfortably exceed £80,000 per year. Our commission structure rewards every part of the sales process, including:

  • vehicle profit
  • finance income
  • add‑on products

On track performers can earn up to 11% of the total deal profit. There are very few dealerships in the UK offering this level of opportunity and empowerment.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in automotive sales is helpful, but mindset matters more. We can teach:

  • finance compliance
  • product knowledge
  • valuation processes

What we cannot teach is drive, energy and initiative. This role would suit somebody who:

  • is entrepreneurial

  • enjoys people and communication
  • understands social media and digital engagement
