Position: Waking Night Support Worker

Location: Billinge

Salary: £14.01 per hour

Working Hours: 10-hour shifts from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM

Shift Pattern: Three nights on, three nights off

We are a specialist Children’s care home staffing provider. Our client is a compassionate and dedicated residential home, committed to providing exceptional care for neurodivergent children with special educational needs (SEN) and learning disabilities (LD). Our goal is to create a safe, calm, and supportive environment that ensures children feel secure and cared for throughout the night.

Responsibilities

  • Providing Overnight Care: Supervising and supporting children during the night, ensuring their needs are met in a calm and professional manner.
  • Ensuring Safety: Monitoring the children’s welfare and maintaining a safe environment by adhering to safeguarding policies.
  • Conducting Routine Checks: Performing regular checks on children, addressing any issues or incidents promptly and effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during the shift.
  • Handover Collaboration: Working closely with daytime staff to ensure continuity of care through detailed handovers.

Requirements
