Hours: Full-time e.g. 36 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

In this role, you’ll work directly in the community and in people’s homes, helping families overcome challenges, strengthen relationships, and access essential services. You’ll play a vital part in improving outcomes for children and helping families lead safer, healthier lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support for families in need of practical or emotional help
  • Work collaboratively with schools, social care, health services, and voluntary sector partners
  • Identify needs and create tailored support plans for families
  • Help families access community resources and services
  • Support children and young people’s development, wellbeing, and school attendance
  • Maintain accurate case notes and attend relevant meetings

About You:

  • You have experience working with children, young people, or families
  • You’re empathetic, a great listener, and calm under pressure
  • You understand safeguarding and confidentiality
  • You’re organized, reliable, and confident working independently
  • A driving license and access to a vehicle is a plus!
