About the Role
In this role, you’ll work directly in the community and in people’s homes, helping families overcome challenges, strengthen relationships, and access essential services. You’ll play a vital part in improving outcomes for children and helping families lead safer, healthier lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support for families in need of practical or emotional help
- Work collaboratively with schools, social care, health services, and voluntary sector partners
- Identify needs and create tailored support plans for families
- Help families access community resources and services
- Support children and young people’s development, wellbeing, and school attendance
- Maintain accurate case notes and attend relevant meetings
About You:
- You have experience working with children, young people, or families
- You’re empathetic, a great listener, and calm under pressure
- You understand safeguarding and confidentiality
- You’re organized, reliable, and confident working independently
- A driving license and access to a vehicle is a plus!
