Team Leader - Children's Residential Home

Liverpool | Full-Time

Are you an experienced Residential Support Worker who feels ready for that next step?

We're looking for a warm, confident and experienced Team Leader to join a children's residential home in Liverpool. This could be perfect for someone who already naturally takes the lead on shift, supports their colleagues and wants the opportunity to develop into management.

This isn't just about having “Team Leader” in your job title. We're looking for someone who genuinely understands residential childcare and can build positive relationships with young people while helping to create a safe, stable and nurturing home.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within children's residential care
  • Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Children & Young People / Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • A good understanding of safeguarding, behaviours that challenge, care planning and professional boundaries
  • Confidence supporting and guiding other members of the team
  • Good communication and recording skills
  • A genuine passion for achieving positive outcomes for young people
  • Willingness to work towards a management qualification and continue developing your career

You'll be supporting the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts, supporting staff, maintaining high standards of care and, most importantly, being a consistent and positive person in the lives of the young people you support.
