We have an opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager to join our team. The role is to lead and deliver major engineering projects within the allocated business unit and alignment with senior management teams for strategical planning and delivery of the engineering service.
The Role
- Develop complex risk based refurbishment / asset investment programmes
- Assess and evaluate programme costs and programmes on technical and commercial basis
- Manage capex process, financial approval and tender processes for capital works
- Project management delivery including contractor and stakeholder management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
What We Are Looking For
- Hold a relevant engineering qualification and project management expertise
- Experience of using project management models such as Prince2 and software such as Microsoft Project required
- Significant project management experience with ability to manage numerous projects involving stakeholder engagement, budget control, customer outcomes and specified deliverables
- Experience of multi project delivery within a high-risk profile organisation would be beneficial
- Experience of managing engineering projects within the Oil distribution/ EV or other high hazard sector
- Experience of HSE management systems and permit to work processes and contractor management
- Knowledge and experience of working with CDM 2015 beneficial
- Problem solving and analytical skill sets
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in management role responsible for people and assets within a multi-site complex organisation
- Influencing and persuasion skills with experience applying these skills to ensure Certas and external service providers achieve optimum outcomes
- Numeracy, Literacy, Commercial Acumen
- Excellent decision making, communication, presentation, and coaching skills
- Able to fit into and complement a well-established, supportive team
