The Role
As an Optical Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the practice and help create an exceptional experience for every patient. Your duties will include:
- Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
- Carrying out pre-screening and basic eye health checks
- Assisting the Optometrist with a smooth patient journey
- Dispensing spectacles and advising on lens options
- Helping patients choose frames that suit their style and lifestyle
- Adjusting, fitting, and repairing spectacles
- Managing collections and aftercare appointments
- Completing administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
