An excellent opportunity has arisen at a top tier mid-sized city firm for an experienced Legal Secretary/Administrator to join their Private Client team in their busy, friendly and diverse London office.

Salary is at market rate, depending on skills and experience.

The firm has three main practice areas that they are highly ranked in: real estate, media and entertainment, and litigation. They also have highly regarded teams in corporate, banking, and IP. There is a large real estate practice which covers commercial property, high-net-worth residential property, property finance, development construction, and property litigation.

The role will cover a range of secretarial and administrative work, including:

  • Dealing with correspondence and documents
  • Opening and closing files
  • Archiving
  • Updating records/databases
  • Assisting with financial and diary management
  • Liaising with clients and setting up meetings
  • Coordinating business development & team meetings
  • Helping with marketing events

You will have had previous experience in a similar role, with good knowledge of - and a real interest in - Private Client work. In addition to keyboard skills, you will have had experience dealing with clients, possess good interpersonal skills, and have a professional and flexible approach to your work. A clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality is essential.

This is primarily a secretarial and admin role and is not suitable for recent law graduates, paralegals, or for anyone seeking to progress to qualification as a solicitor.
