Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse and stimulating caseload, with a strong emphasis on property litigation, advise and act on landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
- Provide advice on lease renewals under relevant legislation and dilapidations claims.
- Lead residential possession proceedings, applying in-depth knowledge of housing law and statutory frameworks to deliver effective outcomes.
- Resolve disputes between property owners, including boundary disagreements, nuisance claims, and enforcement of restrictive covenants.
- Support clients through development-related disputes, offering clear and strategic advice on issues affecting neighbouring land and property interests.
- Provide expert advice on long leasehold matters, including lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, and right to manage processes.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4+ years’ post-qualification experience in property litigation.
