Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse and stimulating caseload, with a strong emphasis on property litigation, advising and acting on landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
- Providing advice on lease renewals under relevant legislation and dilapidations claims.
- Supporting residential possession proceedings, applying in-depth knowledge of housing law and statutory frameworks to deliver effective outcomes.
- Resolving disputes between property owners, including boundary disagreements, nuisance claims, and enforcement of restrictive covenants.
- Supporting clients through development-related disputes, offering clear and strategic advice on issues affecting neighbouring land and property interests.
- Providing expert advice on long leasehold matters, including lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, and right to manage processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with circa 1-5 PQE in property litigation.
- Demonstrable experience in landlord and tenant disputes.
- Proven ability to manage disputes involving adjoining owners and development-related conflicts.
