An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join an established legal risk function within a leading international law firm.
This is a varied role advising senior stakeholders on professional risk, claims, insurance and related contentious matters.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Professional indemnity and professional negligence matters
- Claims and potential claims
- Insurance notifications and liaising with insurers and brokers
- Professional and reputational risk
- Complaints and risk mitigation
- Advising senior stakeholders on complex risk issues
- Policies, procedures and professional risk training
The Requirements
You will be a UK-qualified solicitor with strong professional indemnity, professional negligence or professional risk experience.
Applications are welcomed from candidates with backgrounds in:
- Professional indemnity / negligence
- Professional liability
- Insurance
- Legal risk
- In-house legal or risk
- Other relevant contentious legal disciplines
The role would suit a senior lawyer looking to utilise their technical PI experience within a broader strategic risk environment.
