Our client, a leading specialist in employment and business immigration law, is looking for an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to join their team to oversee the development and management of internal policies and procedures, ensuring they remain aligned with evolving regulatory requirements.

The role involves managing reporting obligations to the SRA, delivering regular compliance training, and conducting file audits to uphold client care and confidentiality standards. You’ll work closely with the Data Protection Manager to ensure GDPR compliance and manage secure file transfers. As the main point of contact for internal conduct and ethics queries, you’ll provide guidance to fee earners and support the firm’s COFA and senior leadership in maintaining financial and operational compliance.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need at least five years’ experience in a similar position within the legal sector and a strong understanding of professional indemnity insurance. You’ll bring exceptional attention to detail, a methodical approach, and the resilience to thrive in a high-pressure environment. You should be highly organised, capable of managing competing priorities, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
