This is a senior opportunity where you will very quickly join the firm's partnership programme. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a highly ranked pensions advisory team.
You’ll become part of a well-resourced team renowned for delivering exceptional advisory services to a diverse client base, including trustees, employers, institutions, and high-net-worth individuals. Operating at the forefront of occupational pensions law, the team is celebrated for its technical excellence and collaborative culture.
Notably, this position provides early partnership opportunities, direct client ownership, and active involvement in strategic decision-making. You’ll also benefit from structured development support designed for those with partnership ambitions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clear, technically robust advice on complex pensions matters.
- Act as client lead on major mandates, managing financial and matter oversight.
- Drive strategic growth initiatives and contribute to business development from day one.
- Build strong networks internally and externally, enhancing the team’s profile through events and thought leadership.
- Mentor and supervise Associates whilst contributing to their knowledge development.
- Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues across related practice areas.
You are an England & Wales qualified lawyer with proven experience in non-contentious pensions work and an established track record advising trustees and employers. Your experience will include:
- Expertise in advisory matters such as deeds of amendment, scheme changes, benefit design, mergers, and governance.
- Experience managing client relationships and supervising associates.
- Commercial awareness, technical precision, and excellent communication skills.
- A proactive approach and enthusiasm for business development.
- Ambition to progress to partnership within a supportive environment.
