An established and well‑regarded employment partner within the firm is seeking an experienced Interim Employment Solicitor (8+ PQE) to join their busy team.

The Role

The position focuses on contentious employment matters, with particular emphasis on discrimination and equality‑related claims. The successful candidate will advise a diverse client base, including senior executives and commercial organisations operating across a range of sectors such as transport, marketing, and technology. Experience of advocacy is welcomed but not essential.

About You

This opportunity would suit a solicitor who:

  • Has a minimum of 8 years’ post‑qualification experience
  • Trained and progressed within a reputable regional or City firm
  • Has a strong track record in contentious employment work, including:
  • Drafting and responding to tribunal claims
  • Preparing witness statements and managing disclosure
  • Advising and liaising directly with clients
  • Can confidently “hit the ground running”
  • Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues alike
