An excellent opportunity has arisen at a top tier US law firm for a data protection / data privacy Specialist to join the growing team.

Responsibilities

• Advising on legal basis for processing
• Conducting legitimate interest balancing and purpose limitation tests
• Identifying data protection risks and suggesting mitigations
• Mapping processes and analysing areas for improvement
• Creating and updating policies and procedures
• Managing ISO27701 certification
• Delivering training

Requirements

• Data protection experience from any professional services company
• Understanding of GDPR
• Knowledge of PIPA, PIPL, POPIA
• BCS Data Protection Practitioner or ISEB preferred (or other data protection qualification)
