Job Description
Our client is a leading international law firm providing legal, corporate and fiduciary services to global financial institutions, investment funds and corporations. They are seeking an experienced Conflicts Advisor to join their well-established Risk & Compliance team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the firm’s global conflict checking and client onboarding processes.
The Role
- Conduct conflict of interest searches and analysis for new clients, matters and hires across multiple jurisdictions.
- Review and interpret conflict results, escalating potential issues to the Conflicts Manager where necessary.
- Liaise with partners, fee earners and business services teams to obtain relevant information for conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate records within the firm’s conflicts database and client intake systems.
- Assist in developing and refining conflict-checking processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support broader compliance and risk management initiatives as required.
About You
- Prior experience in a conflicts or risk role within a law firm.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex ownership structures and legal relationships.
