We are seeking a qualified legal professional to join a well-established disputes team, based in Birmingham, to support and expand a strong commercial litigation practice. The firm is a Gold / Platinum employer with excellent work culture, progression opportunities and a clear path to partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of commercial disputes, covering a range of matters such as contract and shareholder issues, professional negligence, fraud and procurement-related claims.
  • Support senior colleagues on larger or more complex litigation matters.
  • Draft, review and negotiate documentation; prepare and conduct court or tribunal work; liaise with clients, opposing counsel and experts.
  • Contribute to business development and local team growth initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of client service, risk and information-security compliance and teamwork.

Candidate Profile:

  • UK-qualified lawyer (solicitor) with circa 2 - 8+ years’ post-qualification experience in a commercial litigation or dispute resolution environment. (Flexible on the PQE)
  • Proven ability to handle multiple matters, prioritise effectively, exercise initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commercial mindset, keen to develop a reputation and career in dispute resolution.
  • Excellent academic credentials and client-service orientation.
