We’re looking for an IT Support Technician to be our in-office IT presence at our London office. This is a part-time role. Because the majority of our team works remotely, the office is at its busiest when employees come in – typically two days a week. You'll be the first point of contact for any IT issues that arise, keeping things running smoothly so our UK team can focus on their work.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing the business logic to expose our functionality via APIs and UI interfaces, using functional programming and serverless computing.
  • Implementing Frontend code on mobile or web applications.
  • Working and co-ordinating across multiple teams to ensure delivery, raise standards and ensure consistency.
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of our development best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of desktop support or IT technician experience.
  • Confident troubleshooting Mac and Windows devices at 1st and 2nd line level.
  • Hands‑on experience with break/fix hardware repairs and peripheral setup.
  • Practical experience with conference room AV and video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of office networking – Wi‑Fi, switches, basic DNS/DHCP troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with MDM tools for device management (e.g. Kandji, Jamf, or Intune).
  • A proactive, organised approach – you spot issues before they become problems.
  • You are friendly, patient, and calm under pressure and enjoy helping people.
  • You enjoy practical, people‑facing work.
  • You take pride in keeping a workplace tech environment in great shape, and are comfortable using AI tools, particularly Claude and Gemini as part of their everyday workflow.
  • Experience with Google Workspace or Okta administration.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (Jira, Freshservice, or similar).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell) for repetitive tasks.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary and stock options package.
  • Access to a private Medical Insurance scheme through BUPA (medical history disregarded).
  • A wellbeing and lifestyle benefits plan through Medicash.
  • 5% employer contributions pension matching.
  • Life assurance & income protection schemes (available after 12 months of service).
  • A budget of £1,000 per financial year for work‑related training and an allowance of 4 training days.
  • Cycle To Work scheme and Workplace Nursery benefit.
  • Access to Spill – a Mental Health Support platform.
  • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay.
  • 25 days of annual holiday entitlement plus 8 Bank Holidays.

Duration: Part‑Time (20 hours per week). Core hours are to be confirmed, but you should be available during standard business hours likely mid‑morning to early afternoon (e.g. 10am–2pm), with the remainder to be agreed.

Location: Office near Spitalfields market, London (E1).
