Lunalogic UK is a consultancy firm specializing in financial services and IT. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join one of our strategic teams embedded within the IT division of a major financial institution in London. You will join a dynamic team that develops and maintains high-performance software solutions used primarily by front-office teams (trading, sales, structuring), while also supporting control and support functions when needed. The mission involves contributing to the design and implementation of scalable, efficient, and robust systems within a global and cross-functional environment.
Main Objectives
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of software applications used in market operations
- Maintain and regularly update documentation and support materials
- Participate in annual performance reviews and engage in regular alignment with the teamβs project leader
IT and Strong Skills
Required:
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming
- Solid understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., n-tier, MVVM)
Preferred:
- Experience with the .NET framework, C#, WPF, Angular
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Unity, Spring, Prism, or Castle
Business and Technical Exposure
- Experience in financial markets, ideally with commodities (e.g. oil, gas, power)
- Solid understanding of derivatives, options pricing, Greeks, and volatility modeling
- Familiarity with interest rate and curve construction concepts
- Ability to support front-office users and integrate pricing tools

- Strong interest in global markets and financial systems
