Luna the Dental Vets, founded by Dr Joe Inglis MRCVS and Louise Cooke, offers fixed‑price, affordable expert dental care for dogs and cats across a network of dedicated veterinary clinics. In 2025 we opened our first practice in Bristol and are looking for a passionate, talented, enthusiastic and proactive Animal Care Assistant to join our growing team and support demand while working alongside our Registered Veterinary Nurse Supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Animal handling for pre‑med, IV placements and bloods
- Sharpening and sterilising kits
- Client communication in person and over the phone
- General cleaning and practice maintenance
- Inpatient care
- General admin tasks
- Ensuring the front of house remains clean, tidy and well‑stocked
- Assist with dental procedures where appropriate
Qualifications
- Experience working within a veterinary practice
- Hands‑on experience in an ACA or similar role
- Thrives in a fast‑paced environment
- Enjoys being part of a small team and feels a sense of pride in a community practice
- Passion for pets and supporting their dental health journey
