Luna the Dental Vets, founded by Dr Joe Inglis MRCVS and Louise Cooke, offers fixed‑price, affordable expert dental care for dogs and cats across a network of dedicated veterinary clinics. In 2025 we opened our first practice in Bristol and are looking for a passionate, talented, enthusiastic and proactive Animal Care Assistant to join our growing team and support demand while working alongside our Registered Veterinary Nurse Supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Animal handling for pre‑med, IV placements and bloods
  • Sharpening and sterilising kits
  • Client communication in person and over the phone
  • General cleaning and practice maintenance
  • Inpatient care
  • General admin tasks
  • Ensuring the front of house remains clean, tidy and well‑stocked
  • Assist with dental procedures where appropriate

Qualifications

  • Experience working within a veterinary practice
  • Hands‑on experience in an ACA or similar role
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment
  • Enjoys being part of a small team and feels a sense of pride in a community practice
  • Passion for pets and supporting their dental health journey
