At Luna The Dental Vets Reading you'll be working at our centre of excellence, alongside our clinical director Fei and dental cert holder lead nurse Sandra. As a team you'll support pets across their dental health care journey, from prevention to surgical extractions to restorative treatments, as well as free dental health assessments and at home dental care guidance.
This hands on nursing role means you'll spend time both in consultations, free dental health assessments, post operative support and on going dental care and also in theatre working up to Schedule 3 from Scale & Polish to radiographs.
Across Luna a number of our lead vets and clinical board hold dental certificates and have many years of dental experience, alongside many of our lead nurses also hold dental certificates. You'll be working within a supported, curious and dental passionate environment.
- Full time (4 x 10 hour shifts)
- General anaesthetic monitoring
- Schedule 3 from radiographs to Scale & Polish
- Dental kit maintenance and management
- Delivering free dental health assessments and post operative checks
- Proactive and passionate about creating long term dental relationships with pets and owners
- Improving preventative dental care through the Luna Dental Health Club
- Ad hoc community events and activities
- Salary up to Β£35,000
- Pre scheduled appointments only
- 8 - 6pm shifts
