Luna The Dental Vets are changing the way veterinary dental care is provided to pets in the UK. Focussing 100% on first opinion dentistry to drive up standards and keep prices low for owners, ensuring all cats and dogs get the important preventative and surgical care needed. Our brand new clinic in Reading is opening in January 2026 and we would love for you to join the team. The bright and light clinic will have the very best dental equipment to allow us to provide a full range of first-opinion dental services including our routine Protect and Shine hygiene procedures and full surgical Fix & Shine dental with extractions and x-ray.
Are you looking for a different approach to veterinary care? Do you fancy joining a brand new clinic, with calm and structured days, where nurses are encouraged to work up to schedule 3, balancing surgical support with virtual and in-person dental assessments and wider business and client support.
Tasks
- Half a day supporting clinical dental procedures (up to 4 daily)
- Admissions, blood tests, discharges and wider clinic support
- Running in-person and virtual dental health assessments
- Supporting owners with advice and guidance via WhatsApp, email, walk-ins and inbound calls
- Improving preventative dental care habits through The Luna Dental Health Club
- Ad hoc opportunities to support at events and Luna community run activities
Requirements
- You need to be ready to embrace a revolutionary approach to veterinary care, supported with AI, tech and a client first mindset
- You should thrive on variety and the ability to work across multiple tasks
- A brilliant team player with great communication skills and initiative
- GA monitoring experience
- Nurse consult experience
- An active interest in dog and cat dentals
- A desire to join a different type of nursing role, that’s calm, organised, sustainable and gives you the opportunity to build your career as you want
