Location: Remote-first, with weekly catch up in one of our practices (currently Bristol or Reading) and occasional in-person catch-ups with the founders (Swindon / Gloucester area)
About the role
We are looking for an exceptional early-career hire to join our fast-growing healthcare and subscription start-up. This is a hands-on, high-variety role for someone who loves getting stuck in, figuring things out, and making things happen. You will work closely with the co-founders and play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly as we grow. No two weeks will look the same — and that’s exactly the point.
If you are organised, proactive, creative, and get a buzz from ticking things off a list and coming up with better ways to do them, you will thrive here. Note: this role does not require you to be clinical.

We are on a mission to improve the state of the dental health of our nation’s pets. We offer affordable, fixed price dental treatment at our state of the art practices, delivering our unique dental-only model. Our support for pets doesn’t stop there; we have a unique DTC preventative dental health subscription, dental-focused retail products, and a growing group of partnerships, all supporting our community of pet owners across the UK.
Tasks
What you will be doing
This is a true "Swiss army knife" role. Your responsibilities will include:
- Community, events, brand collaborations and business partnerships
- Helping plan and run community events and activations
- Searching out and launching collaborations with brands and businesses aligned to our mission
- Marketing & digital support
- Supporting social media content to educate, inform and entertain. Building trust and reach across our platforms
- Making updates to the website and e-commerce pages
- Operations & fulfilment
- Packing and fulfilling subscription boxes and online orders, ultimately creating a sustainable fulfilment process as we grow
- Supporting with small things that just need doing, e.g. ordering name badges and merchandise, sourcing suppliers and ad-hoc tasks
- Launching new initiatives
- Supporting the rollout of new practices and services (that might even involve grabbing a paintbrush)
- Helping turn ideas into reality, fast
- General admin & problem-solving
- Pitching in wherever needed to keep things moving
- Admin and tasks that might not be the most exciting but need doing
- Spotting inefficiencies, suggesting improvements and making it happen
