Luna Remote Systems are one of the leading companies for remote camera system hire in the UK and worldwide. We supply our specialist systems to multi-camera broadcasts, sport, film, esports, and commercial productions across the globe.
Due to rapid expansion and continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, organised, and proactive Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team. This person will be based in our Watford warehouse and will play a key role in the ultimate delivery of the Luna service—overseeing all warehouse logistics for incoming and outgoing equipment, running a tight and efficient operation, and controlling the flow of equipment to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise all warehouse operations, including inventory control, equipment intake and dispatch, logistics, and global shipping.
- Prepare and test equipment for upcoming jobs, ensuring all systems meet operational standards.
- Work closely with the Technical Director to coordinate allocation of kit and resources.
- Monitor technical preparation for each job, ensuring checklists, booking‑out processes, and internal procedures are followed.
- Develop, implement, and improve warehouse processes to maximise efficiency and reduce errors.
- Maintain accurate inventory management, asset barcoding, and data entry.
- Coordinate with external hire companies for cross‑hire needs.
- Manage servicing and repairs across all systems, liaising with suppliers where necessary.
- Communicate and negotiate with external freight companies to obtain competitive quotes and arrange deliveries within required deadlines.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to all Health & Safety regulations.
- Monitor and optimise warehouse layout and storage solutions to maximise space utilisation.
- Maintain equipment servicing schedules and arrange regular updates or repairs.
- Support the wider team by ensuring consistency, reliability, and a high standard of operational delivery.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Hire Manager, Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager, or similar operational role.
- Experience working with broadcast or technical camera equipment is a strong advantage.
- Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Competency with asset‑tracking systems, inventory software, or similar tools.
- A hands‑on approach with strong multitasking abilities and high attention to detail.
