Your role will include: * Providing day‑to‑day care, emotional support and guidance * Supporting children with routines, education, activities and life skills * Building trusting, professional relationships * Managing challenging behaviours using training and a calm, consistent approach * Ensuring safeguarding is always prioritised and concerns are reported correctly * Keeping accurate records, reports and daily logs * Working closely with the wider team, management, and external professionals * Supporting the home to maintain high standards and a positive, nurturing culture What We’re Looking For * Experience working with children or young people (residential, education, youth work, care or similar) * A calm, patient and resilient approach * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Willingness to learn, complete training and develop professionally * Understanding of safeguarding, boundaries and trauma‑informed practice * Ability to remain professional and consistent during challenging situations
