Location: Goffs Oak, EN7 Service Type: Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Capacity: Maximum 2 children per home Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 Driving Licence: Ideally required Experience: Direct children’s residential experience essential About the Homes These are two brand‑new children’s residential homes supporting young people aged 11–17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Each home will care for up to two children, with a strong Registered Manager already in place and a developing team structure including Deputy Manager, Team Leaders, RSWs, and Night RSWs. As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the culture, standards, and consistency of the homes from day one. The Role The Deputy Manager supports the Registered Manager in the overall leadership and operational management of the homes. You’ll ensure high‑quality care, strong safeguarding practice, and compliance with Ofsted regulations. You’ll lead shifts when required, support staff development, and help drive a therapeutic, child‑centred environment. This role is ideal for experienced seniors or Team Leaders ready to step into a leadership position within a new, well‑supported service.
