Role Overview
The Account Manager will work closely with the Account Director to manage client accounts, build and foster media connections, pitch to media and execute high-impact communications campaigns. We’re seeking someone confident, assertive, and entrepreneurial - with a strong background in financial or corporate communications, and ideally an interest in Web3, crypto, stocks, or capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage key client accounts, focusing on client relationships.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, corporate updates, and investor communications.
- Build strong relationships with financial journalists and analysts, securing top-tier media coverage.
- Represent Luna PR at events and conferences, helping establish our presence in the US market.
- Confidently lead client calls, provide strategic counsel, and act as a trusted advisor.
- Monitor industry trends, including finance, tech, crypto, and capital markets, to position clients effectively.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in PR, communications, investor relations, or financial comms.
- Demonstrated ability to bring in new business and expand client portfolios.
- Strong network of contacts with financial journalists and industry analysts.
- Excellent writing and media pitching skills.
- Confident and assertive communicator, able to manage senior clients and fast-paced environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a startup-style, remote office.
- Knowledge of crypto, Bitcoin treasuries, fintech, or stocks is a strong advantage.
