From our newly opened studio in East Devon, we are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Seamstress/Couturier to join our small, dedicated team on a full-time, part-time or flexible basis. We are seeking a skilled seamstress with a passion for couture garment construction and a meticulous eye for detail. The role is essential to our production process, ensuring every piece meets the highest standard of craftsmanship and luxury.
Key Responsibilities- Work with luxury fabrics such as silk, lace, and embroideries.
- Operate industrial sewing machines and perform fine hand stitching to a couture level.
- Interpret and follow couture patterns and specifications accurately.
- Cut fabrics on the bias with confidence and precision.
- Make alterations and repairs to existing garments as needed.
- Conduct detailed quality control checks on all finished pieces.
