About the role
Lumos Foundation is looking for an experienced Freelance Designer & Brand Guardian to bring our newly refreshed brand to life across a global organisation working to ensure every child grows up in a safe and loving family. This is a hands‑on freelance role combining high‑quality design delivery with brand guardianship at an exciting moment of organisational change and growth.
What you’ll do
- Deliver creative assets across campaigns, fundraising, reports, digital channels, and internal communications
- Act as visual brand guardian, ensuring consistency and accessibility across all outputs
- Design user‑centred interfaces for websites, donation platforms, microsites, and digital tools
- Collaborate closely with communications, digital, and external agency partners to embed the refreshed brand globally
- Maintain and evolve digital and visual design systems for long‑term use
Requirements
- A senior‑level designer with strong experience across digital, UI, and brand systems
- Confidence working as a brand guardian within complex, multi‑stakeholder organisations
- Excellent understanding of accessibility, compliance, and user‑centred design
- Experience working with charities, NGOs, or purpose‑driven organisations is a strong advantage
- Ability to manage multiple requests while balancing strategic and operational priorities
