We are seeking a AI Strategy Consultant for a 6-month contract in Central London.
Working across Gas, Power, and Commodities trading, you will assess clients’ digital maturity and identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies. This is a strategic advisory role, partnering with senior stakeholders to define digital roadmaps and drive business transformation.
Key Skills:
- Deep domain expertise in Gas, Power, or broader Commodity trading environments
- Strong understanding of trading lifecycle including scheduling, logistics, risk (VaR, MtM), and portfolio optimisation
- Experience with AI, ML, GenAI, LLMs or advanced analytics in trading or financial services contexts
- Knowledge of modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks) and cloud ecosystems (AWS or Azure)
- Familiarity with ETRM systems such as Endur or Allegro and how they integrate with digital tooling
What You’ll Bring:
- 8–12+ years’ experience in commodity trading, energy markets, consulting, or related environments
- Proven ability to diagnose complex business and technology landscapes across front, middle, and back office functions
- Experience building AI and digital transformation roadmaps with clear ROI and feasibility prioritisation frameworks
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage and influence C‑suite stakeholders
- Ability to translate technical AI and data concepts into clear, commercial business outcomes
