The Role
We are looking for a Junior Treasury Analyst to join the Group’s Treasury team, supporting the day-to-day running of all treasury operations across the Lumon Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior or entry-level finance professional to gain exposure and experience within a rapidly growing business. The role requires an ambitious and motivated individual who is looking to develop and take on increasing responsibilities as their skill set grows.
What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day:
- Management of the Treasury FX accounts and cash balances
- Reconciliation of all accounts within Treasury purview
- Execution of cash management swaps
- Management of next day currencies to negate potential liquidity impacts
- First line of escalation for all trading queries for the group
- Execution of trades as required with various counterparties
- Responsible for reconciliation of FX positions
- Execution of net settlement between multiple counterparties
- Managing collateral within the firm’s liquidity and capital management policy and procedures
- Production of Treasury reports to evidence adherence to control framework
- Learning and building on the existing Treasury processes
What We Are Looking For:
- Finance educational background and/or experience within a finance-based role
- Experience using Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently, as well as supporting other members of the Treasury Team
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication skills, able to manage relationships both internally and externally
- A willingness to learn and adapt and to be able to work in a fast-paced environment is vital
