We are seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to join our successful Client Engagement Team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for new clients, engaging with them over the phone to understand their needs and demonstrate how our foreign exchange services can help them achieve their goals. You will be responsible for setting the standard for high-quality client interactions and ensuring a positive introduction to Lumon’s services.
We are looking for someone who is approachable, has an excellent telephone manner, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. While prior knowledge of the currency market is not essential, an interest in the economy and current affairs will be beneficial, as these factors influence the foreign exchange market. Full training will be provided.
Working in an energetic and fast-paced environment, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and ideally some experience in a customer-facing role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to build a career within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the first point of contact for new client enquiries, including those generated through partner recommendations and our website.
- Contact clients at appropriate times to introduce Lumon’s services and demonstrate how we can meet their requirements.
- Open a high number of quality trading accounts.
- Meet key KPIs including time on the phone and number of outbound dials.
- Ensure new accounts are handed over smoothly to the New Business Trading team.
- Represent Lumon’s values, ensuring the highest standards are maintained in all client interactions.
- A good level of education, with a minimum of passes in English and Maths GCSEs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present information to clients.
- Excellent telephone manner and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with other departments within the business.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and positive, with a proactive approach.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
