Our Mission and who we are
‘To be the world’s most trusted currency partner’
At Lumon, we help individuals and businesses move money across borders – smoothly, securely, and cost-effectively. With operations in 150+ countries and support for over 40 currencies, we combine competitive, bank-beating exchange rates with a personal, human touch.
Whether it’s buying property abroad, managing international business costs, or sending money home, every customer gets access to a dedicated currency specialist – alongside our digital FX platform – for expert support tailored to their needs.
We’re regulated by the FCA and the Central Bank of Ireland, handling billions in transfers each year for over 70,000 private clients and 2,500+ businesses. Backed by Pollen Street Capital, we’re in an exciting phase of growth – scaling across Europe and expanding our tech and services.
The Client Engagement Team
Our Client Engagement team acts as the bridge between our clients and the services we provide. We’re the first voice clients hear and the ongoing support they rely on. Whether it\’s guiding new customers through onboarding or helping long-standing clients navigate our services. The team is collaborative, fast-paced, and genuinely invested in building strong relationships.
In a nutshell, in this role, you’ll be working exclusively with prospective client enquiries generated through our partnership with Rightmove, the UK’s largest property portal. These are individuals who have shown interest in buying property overseas – giving you a valuable starting point for meaningful conversations. Your primary focus will be to reach out to these prospective clients, understand their needs, and introduce them to how Lumon can support their international payment requirements.
This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is keen to develop commercial experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
We’re looking for someone who is approachable, articulate, and genuinely passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll need to be comfortable speaking with new people over the phone, with a confident and professional telephone manner that builds trust from the first conversation.
While prior experience in the foreign exchange market is not required, an interest in the economy, current affairs, or global markets will help you quickly get to grips with the industry and have more informed conversations with clients. Full training will be provided, so curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn are more important than technical knowledge.
Your day to day will be the following…
- Be the first point of contact for new enquiries via key channels – with a specific focus on enquiries provided through our partnership with Rightmove
- Connect with clients at the right time to introduce our services and explain how we can meet their needs
- Build rapport and qualify the client’s interest, ensuring their suitability for our services
- Open high-quality trading accounts for new customers
- Hit core KPIs around call volume, registrations, and time on the phone

- A proactive attitude – you’re someone who takes initiative and is comfortable making outbound calls to prospective clients
- Ability to manage your time effectively, stay organised, and work towards team and individual goals
- Resilience and motivation – you\’re comfortable handling objections and see challenges as opportunities to grow
- Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) passes in English and Maths
