Company Description
Lumix is the value-first event procurement platform built by industry insiders to bring transparency, control, and savings to every event. Designed for events, marketing, and procurement teams, Lumix Procurement combines smart technology with deep industry knowledge to streamline sourcing, cut costs, and eliminate hidden fees. We offer a modern alternative to traditional agency models, equipping teams with the tools, insights, and supplier access needed to deliver standout events with measurable ROI.
Role Description
Help shape how the world’s most ambitious events are delivered. Lumix is building the infrastructure behind modern global events. Our clients run everything from large-scale trade fairs to private leadership conferences across the UK, New York, the Middle East and Singapore. Behind every one of those events is a complex web of suppliers, contracts, timelines and decisions — and Lumix exists to make that complexity disappear. We connect exceptional event suppliers with ambitious event teams and give both sides a better way to work together. Faster sourcing. Clearer communication. Better outcomes. This role sits right at the centre of that system.
The role
As an Account Manager at Lumix, you’ll own a portfolio of high-impact clients and specialist suppliers and be responsible for making sure global events actually get delivered brilliantly. You are not here to “manage tickets” or push emails. You are here to:
- Understand how events are bought and delivered at scale
- Orchestrate the right suppliers around each brief
- Build trust on both sides of a growing platform
- Help Lumix grow by making the experience genuinely better
You’ll work directly with senior event stakeholders, partner closely with the Founder, and have real autonomy over how your accounts grow.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Owning client relationships
- Act as the primary, ongoing point of contact for a small number of key client accounts
- Build a deep understanding of how your clients plan and deliver events across regions and formats
- Ensure supplier responses are fast, relevant and high-quality for every brief
- Identify opportunities to expand spend across categories, services and geographies
- Drive meaningful growth within accounts, not just activity
- Building a trusted supplier network
- Manage a portfolio of specialist event suppliers introduced via the Founder
- Take suppliers through a clear, low-friction onboarding and commercial journey
- Maintain a strong understanding of supplier capabilities, availability and strengths
- Keep suppliers engaged, responsive and winning work through the platform
- Balance supplier success with client outcomes — this is a two-sided ecosystem
- Making the platform work in the real world
- Be the human layer that turns software into results
- Spot friction in workflows and feed insights back into product and process
- Work closely with marketing on supplier engagement and client activity
- Help shape how Lumix scales as both a platform and a commercial business
What success looks like
- Clients trust you and rely on you to make their events happen
- Supplier engagement is high, responsive and commercially active
- Client spend grows meaningfully year-on-year (target ~50% growth in year one)
- Accounts are retained because the experience is better with Lumix than without it
- You’re seen internally as someone who improves how things work
Who this role is for
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has worked in or around events, agencies, production or experiential delivery
- Enjoys operating at the intersection of relationships, commercial thinking and delivery
- Is confident working with senior stakeholders and specialist suppliers
- Cares about quality, experience and outcomes — not just process
- Wants real ownership and visibility in a fast-growing business
You don’t need a procurement background. You do need judgement, curiosity and the confidence to run accounts well.
Why Lumix
- You’ll work on events with genuine global scale and visibility
- You’ll have direct access to the Founder and influence over how the business evolves
- You’ll be early in a company that is redefining how event procurement works
- You’ll grow as Lumix grows — in scope, responsibility and seniority
