The Opportunity
We’re supporting an international brand-led business in hiring a Direct Ship Logistics Manager to take ownership of factory-to-customer deliveries across Europe. This role focuses on managing shipments that bypass traditional distribution centres, ensuring products move directly from suppliers to customers efficiently, compliantly, and on time. It’s a highly hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys working at the centre of operations — coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and keeping everything moving in a fast-paced environment.
The job:
- Manage end-to-end shipments from factory to customer across EU markets
- Oversee direct deliveries from both EU and international suppliers
- Ensure all shipments meet customer-specific and customs requirements
- Coordinate key shipping documentation including:
- Commercial invoices
- Packing lists
- Origin statements / REX declarations
- Link purchase orders to sales orders and support accurate invoicing
- Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or issues
- Maintain accurate tracking and ensure all shipments are correctly invoiced and closed
What we need from you:
- Experience in international logistics, transport, or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of EU road freight and cross-border shipping
- Hands-on experience with customs documentation and compliance
- Comfortable managing shipment data, reports, and operational processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work across multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
- Experience in retail, apparel, or FMCG is a plus
