We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to support the inbound movement of products into UK and European distribution centres, ensuring goods are received accurately and on time across the network. This role plays a key part in coordinating with logistics partners, maintaining accurate system data, and ensuring smooth warehouse intake processes to support wider supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound shipments from factories and suppliers into UK/EU warehouses
- Work closely with 3PL providers and freight forwarders to manage delivery schedules and bookings
- Ensure all shipping documentation, EDI messaging, and inbound data is accurate and provided on time
- Process goods receipts and maintain inventory accuracy within ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Monitor inbound performance, resolving delays, discrepancies, or stock issues
- Support stock control activities including write-offs, adjustments, and warehouse stocktakes
- Maintain inbound logistics reporting and communicate delays or risks to internal stakeholders
- Partner with Finance on invoice queries and shipment-related discrepancies
What we’re looking for:
- 2–3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations (inbound exposure preferred)
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- Understanding of shipping processes, customs, and Incoterms
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with documentation and data accuracy
- Ability to coordinate with 3PL providers, freight partners, and internal teams
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong Excel and data-handling skills
