The opportunity
They are looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join a growing legal team. You’ll take ownership of a varied caseload across probate, estate administration, wills, and trusts - while helping to build a more modern, scalable, and client-centred legal service. This is an ideal role for someone ready to step beyond the traditional law firm model and have real influence on how services are delivered. There is also no business development required in this role.
What you’ll do
- Manage probate matters (grant-only and full estate administration), including complex estates
- Act as a trusted client advisor, leading consultations with clarity and empathy
- Draft bespoke wills and advise on inheritance tax planning
- Set up and administer trusts (discretionary, life interest, bare)
- Deliver strategic advice on succession planning, asset protection, and tax efficiency
- Work with financial advisers and partners to provide joined-up solutions
- Help develop scalable processes, templates, and best practices
About you
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in Private Client
- Strong probate and estate administration experience
- Skilled in complex wills, trusts, and estate planning
- STEP qualification (desirable)
- Highly organised, commercially aware, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communicator with a compassionate, client-first approach
- Motivated by innovation and building something new
